Designed by Rockwell Group, TAO Downtown offers a distinct sense of arrival and discovery and is the first TAO venue where guests descend into a multi-level space. Netjes gereserveerd maar toch nog ruim half uur moeten wachten. Dat vond ik niet zo fijn, vooral omdat we met onze 2 kinderen waren. Ook had ik gevraagd om een mooie tafel omdat we iets te vieren hadden. Helaas niet gekregen. Het geluidsniveau vind ik echt veel te hard. Heb mijn bestelling voor de serveerster op moeten schrijven omdat we elkaar niet konden verstaan. Eten was fantastisch en de serveerster erg vriendelijk, maar erg jammer dat de muziek zo ontzettend hard staat dat je meteen na het eten wilt “vluchten”.

Samen met mijn vader een geslaagde avond in Joe Allen gehad. Het was er gezellig druk maar door de prima en zeer vriendelijke bediening liep alles op rolletjes. Wij wilden het hoofdgerecht niet meteen na het voorgerecht en was geen enkel probleem. Eten was heerlijk en de steak tartaar is een aanrader.
