We are happy to reopen on Thursday, August 6th. In line with CDC regulations, we can only accept parties of 6 guests or less. Haikan is our second Sapporo Ramen shop in DC after Daikaya. Haikan means, “pipe works” in Japanese, an ode to Atlantic Plumbing Building where we are located. At Haikan, we focused on creating the taste of ramen from the showa period, the golden age of ramen in Japan. We didn’t know what to expect from Petite Cerise, it was our first time. Dinner was delicious, service was excellent and to be honest I can’t think of a negative thing to say. Prix Fixe menu is the best way to taste different options from the menu and don’t forget to try the Parisian Gnocchi, fantastic!

Food was decent. Some of the food was really good. There was only one table beside us and the server just seemed to not look in our direction. We had to wave her over every single time.

We visited for brunch after MagFest. The service was prompt and courteous, the food was pretty great, and we were in a room in the back so it was calm and quiet. Only sad part was they were out of Coffee because apparently someone didn't order enough inventory. Truly shocked a restaurant can be sold out of coffee on Sunday at 1:30pm. Otherwise it was a great time.
