Daniel and Natasha Smith took over The Fordwich Arms in 2017 and were awarded a Michelin Star within the first year, as well as being in the top 100 gastro pubs in the UK, multiple culinary awards, notable wine awards and various other accredits, a testament to their hair work and talent. The seasonal menus focus on provenance, showcasing the best of local Kentish ingredients, sourced directly from local farms and producers. The food was absolutely amazing. Melt in the mouth brisket and ribs. The dining area was very welcoming as were the staff who were very friendly and efficient. The only issue I would say is the background music was just a tad too high which resulted in raised voices to speak over it.

Me and mu friends can not stop appreciating for what we have experienced today, they are very glad I introduced this place to celebrate a birthday and onw said we will be back to celebrate hers next year. Food excellent and service was outstanding, very friendly 🤗 and thank you very much.

The food was exceptionally good! Also, very rare for Canterbury, but the interior was really good too! Loved every bit of it. We were greeted by Kim. She was wonderful. Got our orders in no time and their bar has some great options too! Loved the Mumbai mashup cocktail, would definitely recommend!
