A luxurious spot designed and built by Vacuum Studio featuring a highly pigmented colour palette inspired by our global travels. Our magical conservatory restaurant is set amid Updown’s rambling grounds. Dine under the grape vines surrounded by beautiful 17th century brick and watch the chefs in the open kitchen tending to the wood fired grill and original farm house bread oven. The restaurant has been completely transformed by owners Ruth and Oli to be heated and fully enclosed and is open year round.Menus will be small, hyper seasonal and use the best of local and European produce and change on regular basis to reflect what’s best. Everything is cooked over wood in the open kitchen. There is a short list of exciting wines of limited availability, local beers and seasonal cocktails.On Wednesday nights in place of our à la carte we cook a Steak Night menu , priced at £30 per person for 3 courses. On Sunday nights the restaurant is closed but we serve a light supper for hotel guests in the Farmhouse.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to No 9 for Sunday Roast. Excellent service and lovely menu, could not fault it. Well done to all your team. We have already planned our next visit. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed High Dive. The food was gorgeous, but I just wished the portion was a bit bigger! We were the only table in there so it was a bit quiet, but that is not the fault of the restaurant. The staff were great and the decor is lovely - I would recommend it and I would love to go back!
