Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Matkim offers an exceptional dining experience. It's very clear that the team love what they do and are passionate about creating dishes which are innovative and full of flavour. The food and service are high quality and no detail is left to chance. The recent one hat award is well deserved and is sure to be followed by more in the future. I booked all eight seats for a special occasion and everyone in my party would highly recommend Matkim.

Awesome, the staff are fantastic and they always greet us ands remember us which is nice. The food is awesome and we keep coming back for more. This is out go-to neighborhood Japanese. Only wish the Sake was not so expensive.

Food is consistently delicious here. They really need to replace there chairs they are in a very dilapidated state and it is quite off putting.
