De oer-Hollandse gezelligheid betekent in landen rond de Middellandse Zee ‘samen zijn’. De tijd nemen voor elkaar rond een tafel vol kleine gerechtjes en genieten van een glas wijn. Ieder besteld gemiddeld 3 á 4 gerechtjes per persoon waarna alles wat op tafel staat gezellig samen wordt gedeeld. Onze chefkok struint de markt af op zoek naar seizoensproducten en combineert graag streekproducten met mediterrane kruiden. Hier had de keuken niet goed over nagedacht. Vlaams stoofvlees met frietjes werden opgediend in een kommetje. onderin de friet, daarbovenop het stoofvlees. Hierdoor waren de frietjes sompig door de jus en het stoofvlees erbovenop was aan de droge kant. Wat is er mis met serveren op een bord?? Ik vond dit heel jammer, want het stoofvlees smaakte overheerlijk!

We konden moeilijk een restaurant vinden en stuitten op Jottum. De tapas waren een verrassing aangezien de naam de inhoud niet verraadde. Het eten was erg lekker en authentiek. De bediening vriendelijk. Vooral de lamskoteletjes waren yummy. Zeker aan te raden!
