This was the second year having Christmas lunch at The Ship in Distress. The food was excellent, tasty , nicely presented and hot. Service by staff was very friendly and no shortage of smiles. Excellent Christmas Day lunch and will be booking for 2025.

Morning All, I just wanted to write a quick note to say how fantastic you all are, every one of you 😊 Our Christmas meal was the best so far since I’ve been at this company. Food, drink, service, quality, ambiance, security was all superb You are all superstars in my eyes and went over and above to make our evening really special. Overall we really enjoyed our meal, I would say it was fair value and good quality. Our server Geraldine was polite, friendly and attentive throughout, the food was nice, we did have to wait a considerable time for desert, not sure why exactly, it was only a cheesecake, but seemed to take far longer than the main meal. The setting was lovely, Art Deco vibe with a relaxing ambiance, it was quiet due to the time of day (early meal due to an evening engagement) but this suited us, I would definitely go back and would recommend a meal here.
