Beste restaurants voor een afternoon tea in Deeping St. James

We were at Doddington Hall and the room we were in was large and well decorated with many lights and a large Christmas tree and welook out to a layer of genuine snow, it looked so Christmassy. We were well looked after and served with a super Cream Tea. It was delicious.

The staff were so kind and attentive. They offered us an extra Prosecco as we were celebrating a birthday. We also loved the scones; they were not sugary and were so crispy on the outside. The savory options could be improved.

Food was pleasant and most of the service was good. Just one waitress was borderline rude. Drinks took forever to come - half of our starter arrived before drinks. Then the other half took ages to arrive. Lovely venue - one of the best around but service always lets it down

Lovely setting, beautiful savouries and scones. For the price there were far too many sweet treats- these were lovely but became simply inedible due to the sheer size and amount. The amount of pistachio crème on the mince pie was somewhat sickly and I think substance over style would be more appreciated. Our waiters were lovely though, and nothing was too much. Also- it would be nice to have proper boxes to take sweet treats home in as again, it was simply impossible to eat that much sugar in one sitting.
