Located just around the corner from Liverpool Street Station, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too. Indeed it is said that upon renovation of the site, old bones were found (where the staff loos are now!) and the original East India Co Tea Warehouse was believed to be built on a graveyard so you never know who you may bump into in our basement lounge... Unique for a City pub we have a private patio tucked away for time out of the office and a cool basement complete with three electronic dartboards.

The food was outstanding. The only minor comment I have is that the menu was in Italian and so we did not know what to order for a little while before the waitress explained it to us. Other than that everything was brilliant.

Excellent service from the very beginning. We had booked a table, but when we arrived, we were given the choice to sit further into the restaurant away from the door. Pedro was very helpful with choosing wines, providing an at table tasting service. The food was all delicious, as were the drinks. All of the waiting staff were very attentive and helpful. There was a good, lively atmosphere without being too noisy, and our table were all able to easily converse with one another. A really wonderful afternoon!

We had to wait a long time to place our order. There was plenty of staff and it was not full when our party arrived. Nonetheless, the food was tasty and plentiful. The mocktails were delicious and I was informed the wines were nice too. Overall, a good meal.
