Beste restaurant met live muziek in Glenroy

I think this is my favourite bar in melb. I hope it can stay as a hidden gem so i can make the most of it and not have to share haha

We dined today at the Ascot Vale Hotel and all enjoyed the excellent value 'Tradies Lunch'. At $25 for the meal including a glass of wine and a drink, it is great value. I highly recommend the Barramundi and chips!! But, more importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Isaac was our 'Main Man' and he looked after the 5 of us very well. A very nice guy and we all appreciated his delightful sense of humour! Keep up the great work guys! PS: I have a bit of skin in the game, having been a barman for 3 years when completing my degree at Victoria Uni (ex FIT).

Friendly service great spot before matinee theatre to have a lovely lunch

Food was incredible. Portions were good. Service was efficient but friendly. Table of 11. Ordered and served within 15 minutes. Bit $$$ - but worth every penny

It’s been a while since I’ve been there, & I was pleasantly surprised. Warm welcome, friendly staff,food portions were generous & cooked freshly, with an interesting menu that included pub favourites, with twists on other menu offerings. Can highly recommended the beef stir fry!!-delicious. Prices aren’t exactly cheap, but it’s good value for what you get in regard to quality,freshness & portions. Ambiance is low light moodiness and surprisingly quiet considering its on such a busy road.
