TAVERNA is nestled in Saskatoon's historic downtown core within walking distance of a number of major hotels in the renowned entertainment district. The building was originally the grocery section of the J.F. Cairns Department Store dating back to 1907. Taverna still maintains a historical charm and character, serving delicious, exceptionally well-prepared Italian American food since 1969. Simultaneously comfortable yet aspirational. We believe that keeping the food fresh, simple and whole is the secret to a successful dish. Italian food doesn't have to be complicated or elaborate to be spectacular.

We have high top and low top seating, groups of six or more are often assigned to high top seating, please let us know if you have any mobility issues which may prevent this being comfortable for you and your group.
