Her son Kenneth Sze, now part owner, has come to bring inspiration and creative Japanese cuisines to Yokohama. Kenneth, having supported of all his mom's restaurants, has been vital part of Cindy's lifelong achievements and has come back to his long life devotion to food that brings flare to the tables of Yokohama.

So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft.
