Using local ingredients with Italian influences, Terra is Eataly’s premium wood-burning grill restaurant located on the third floor of Eataly Silicon Valley. Named for “earth’ in Italian, Terra's menu features the season’s best ingredients cooked simply over open flames. Its food meant to be paired with an inventive botanical cocktail and enjoyed outside on our expansive shaded patio.We hold the table for a grace period of 15 minutes before offering the reservation to our waitlist.Parties of 7-10 people are required to make a deposit of $150.00 and parties of 11 or more, email esv-privatedining@eataly.com to secure the date. We very much enjoyed our dining experience at Restaurant Gish and the special holiday menu from beginning to end! Each dish was creative, delicious, and well presented. We sat at the counter and really enjoyed watching the chefs create and plate each dish, and describe them to us. Some dishes such as the consommé and salad ssam were delicate with wonderful finesse. The scallop curdo was inventive and well put together, so yummy. The beef tartare with truffle and Asian touches was outstanding and a unique combination. The larger or heavier dishes such as the entrees (lamb, lobster tail) were substantive and satisfying. The meal ended on a beautiful note with the pear sorbet with added house made pine honey crunch. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant felt lively yet cozy and welcoming. We recommend!

Excellent food. Great staff. They allowed me to change my reservation time at the last-minute. My mistake--I also accidentally reserved for the wrong number of people but they accommodated with no issue. Food was awesome. Staff was friendly. We stayed late after they closed and they didn't say a word or do anything to hint that we needed to leave. Great time by all and no one had a single complaint.
