Heritage pub turned Greek Islands-inspired paradise, Golden Fleece Hotel has brought Santorini to South Melbourne. Entering off Montague Street, you’ll find curvaceous, stone-look tables, booths and an adjoining bottle shop where the walls are lined with vino you can take away! Our focus is on fresh seasonal and sustainable produce combined with key ingredients specifically imported from Italy to create an authentic Neapolitan pizza for our customers. Our ingredients are meticulously hand picked to ensure the best taste possible. So come in, enjoy our wood-fired pizza, homemade pastas, vegan alternatives, locally sourced wines and best quality beer. We would be humbled to see you come as a guest and leave as a friend.We use our own sourdough starter for our pizza process which ferments for a minimum of 48 hrs – the result is a base with a great flavour, sourdough taste and a texture that is light but with a bit of chew. All our pizzas are hand stretched, traditionally topped, and woodfired – Napoli style. We use extra virgin olive oil and organic sea salt flakes on all our dishes. Absolutely brilliant Greek food, not a single misstep with anything we ordered. The food was just amazing. Serving sizes were generous very satisfying. Kids ordered souvlakis and were super happy, adults ordered lots of share plates and we were completely blown away by all the flavours. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks but they were busy so sometimes a bit slow but we didn’t care. We were made to feel very welcome and as it was a special occasion we were given a private dining area so we could chat away from the upstairs fun. This will become a regular for us!

Great little Italian restaurant in Docklands. Food is fresh & delicious and staff is always attentive & accommodating. This is the second time we had our staff pizza night here & it was great.
