You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more. Excellent quality food and service. We usually have the lunchtime “Village Menu” which is great value for money - we all found the choices on offer enticing and could have chosen any one - which means we’re happy to go back again knowing we can try something different. They provide nice little touches like focaccia as a nibble to start while waiting. Portion sizes we found were perfect.

It was my first visit to the Green Oak we have wanted to go for a while and it did not disappoint. Such a lovely place we were greeted warmly and had a lovely table. The car park was busy it looked like there was a lot of people but inside it was spacious with plenty of room. The service was first class so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious beautifully cooked we had the fish and chips. It was my birthday and I was given complimentary sweet treat which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely return.
