The Rabbits is a family friendly gastro pub & restaurant in the heart of the essex countryside. We pride ourselves on good friendly service and good quality homecooked food with our seasonal menus, we serve real ales, fine wines & premium spirits. We have a great beer garden where you can take in the picturesque views whilst not having to go too far to order any food or drink as this can all be done at our garden bar which is also playing background music around our garden, this is open Thurs-Sunday throughout the spring/summer weather permitting. Excellent food, service, and space overall. We loved the setup and relaxed atmosphere along with the attention to detail. All servers had a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm for the food and wine.

I loved the place and the huge table looking to the kitchen. The decoration and the atmosphere. But I was a bit disappointed with the food, that I found too saucy and with associations that I didn’t think so interesting. Also, we were advised to order at least 5 different plates to share and that was way too much! So I don’t think I will recommend. Sorry !
