James St is the coming together of two of Belfast’s best restaurants, James Street South Restaurant and The Bar and Grill at James St. The new offering is the best of the Bar and Grill's menu with a few light touches to the fine cooking of James Street South.Classic dishes are firmly established on the menu from the crab and chilli linguine, Dundrum crab used on toast, alongside classic bistro dishes such as farmhouse terrine, fruit de mer plates available from Thursday. As usual, great service, great food (pork belly a must taste) we had 7 X starters & 1 x desert between 2 adults & 1 child with 9 x drinks inc 1 x cocktail, 2 gin & mixer, Calypso Coffee, 2 x cokes & 2 big bottles cider & all were great at reasonable priced (£100 all in) & after my daughter left behind a shopping bag, I contacted CCC’s & they kindly advised they have it & I can collect o next week, thanks a million guys, my daughters special treat after her transfer test was evnjoyable, we’ll be back for Christmas menu that we were advised is available from 25/11/24👍👏👏👏

It was great - the only downside was the toilets were go 4 flights of stairs… not ideal for my heavily pregnant sister in law or 76 year old mother. Lovely otherwise
