Nami Nori is a casual, Japanese restaurant specializing in open-style temaki hand rolls, located in Montclair. The menu features signature hand rolls, including crunchy varieties, as well as classic versions, and a special vegan section. We had a great birthday celebration dinner at Bad Roman. Our waiter Humberto was very attentive and efficient. Nice ambience, great food, great wines and cocktails. We ordered a variety of appetizers including the eggplant pull-a -parm , the meatballs, ribs. Very generous portions and delicious. The eggplant I thought was amazing, which came with a nice dipping sauce. We had the Il Divorzio Half and Half and the Short Rib Pappardelle which were generous,portions and tasty. We could not finish it all and took the rest home. We will definitely be back!

Wir waren zwei mal dort, weil es so sehr lecker war. Einmal hat es sofort ohne Reservierung geklappt, da wir früher gegessen haben, beim anderen mal haben wir am gleichen Tag reserviert. Ist sehr gut besucht. Wir raten jeden das Restaurant zu Besuchen.

A friend introduced me to this restaurant over the summer and it’s been one of my favorites whenever I come back to NYC to catch up with friends. I love the explosive flavors, delicious cocktails, and the music they played had me bopping my head while eating. Ray was a great waiter checking in to make sure I was enjoying my meal and had everything I needed. I always enjoy my dinners here because the staff is wonderful and gives excellent recommendations.
