Nami Nori is a casual, Japanese restaurant specializing in open-style temaki hand rolls, located in Montclair. The menu features signature hand rolls, including crunchy varieties, as well as classic versions, and a special vegan section. This was our 3rd time coming to Stella. The Food is delicious and always consistent. Prices are reasonable, love that it’s a byob.

If you are going to the theatre and want to eat close by this place is amazing. Only about a 5 minute walk to most Broadway shows it is the perfect place. Other Chinese restaurants in the area are packed but somehow this one is not and the food was so much better than the others. Maybe its the funkball location, across from the mess that is the Port Authority and tucked b/w a McDonalds and Burger King that turns people away…but once you taste the food you wont be sorry for braving the walk. Authentic Szechuan meals and a section in the back of the menu for “American Chinese” food…Might have been some of the best Chinese food I have ever had…that includes the China Town mainstay’s.

Tasty calamari. Especially nice cocktail, a tamarind margarita. Loved the pizza. Great atmosphere. Neighborhood joint, full up on a Sunday night. Will be back.
