Beste vegan restaurants in Capitol Hill / First Hill

Great place for a date night. Drinks are so diverse. They’re bound to have something for everyone. I ordered a carne asada and while it is a little pricey, they don’t skimp on the meat and it was one the best carne asadas I’ve tried in the Seattle area. My girlfriend ordered the enchiladas with the poblano pepper sauce and it was great too. We had a great Valentines dinner and it won’t be the last time we come here. Highly recommend!

Our first time eating here, despite being locals. The food isn't fancy, but it is good. Mostly authentic Bavarian fare, with a few modern dishes or modern takes on tradition (i.e., habanero-cheddar or Sichuan wursts). Good local tap line. And 5 indoor bocce ball courts! Where else can you find that in Seattle? We went early on a Friday before an event, and the place was pretty sleepy other than a private party at the back. The service was slow but friendly. I think they were still ramping up for the dinner crowd. It is a big place, with lots of seating. Outdoor garden seating with another bocche court as well. I can imagine it might get a bit loud when full. We will definitely go back.

Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Food was excellent and worth the price. We both got steak frites and loved it. The server we had was not great. She was rushing us through and seemed irritated we were there. Not super helpful, I asked some questions about desert and the menu and she seemed annoyed. I’ve been here a couple times and always had a great experience, the food and the vibe made up for the bad server. We will still come back but hope for better service.

Delicious food, and kindest possible service for my elderly mother in a wheelchair, with a much-appreciated offer to turn down the music. I understand why she’s been coming here for years, and we’ll certainly keep coming!
