The Fancy Fox Patisserie is a beautiful tea room and cake boutique in Broadway West, Leigh-on-sea serving delicious seasonal Afternoon tea, Artisan cakes, Speciality coffee and various other sweet and savoury delights. We serve lunch Daily. This includes a variety of sandwiches, baguettes and home made quiche. Lunch is served on a walk in basis so pop along and enjoy.Vegan, gluten free and dairy free afternoon tea is available. The Punchbowl is a 17th century gastro pub, located in the heart of rural Essex and the Crouch Valley and the South Essex Salt marshes. Attached to the side of a busy town pub it offers a friendly, old fashioned, restaurant vibe selling freshly cooked food from Italian classics to Galician steaks. Our signature dish being a 900 gram Galician Ribeye on the bone carved at the table for two. With a stone pizza oven and an outside dining terrace. The restaurant has plenty to offer.

This is the second year running that my friend and I have been to the Fancy Fox for our Christmas afternoon tea. The venue is beautiful and is especially magical at Christmas. The food is absolutely fantastic and they were brilliant at catering for vegetarians/food allergies. The service can't be faulted and I would say that overall it is great value for money. Infact, there was so much food that we both had to take home leftovers.

Lovely afternoon tea. Beautiful views, lovely food, warm scones just out of the oven, fresh cream, what’s not to like! Endless drinks too. Would definitely buy afternoon tea voucher for a present after such an enjoyable experience. Staff very friendly and service great too.
