Utter Waffle - a gem within the South London brunch scene! We opened our Balham restaurant in 2024, our second site after our Herne Hill baby! Since our launch, we've collected a small cabinet of trophies and awards, and have even cooked our savoury waffles on Masterchef, Sunday Brunch & Saturday Kitchen! Our busy brunch restaurant serves everything from fried chicken & waffles and our signature avo smash, to bottomless brunch & craft beers. For those with a sweet tooth - fret not as the desserts are pretty good too - (we're even the proud winners of The Best Dessert in the UK (British Street Food Awards)), so there really is something for everyone! The food was excellent and service impeccable. The food all tasted fresh and wonderfully seasoned. They were spot-on with their heat ratings. The restaurant is long and narrow and a bit tight. It was lively and fun for a group but it might not be your thing if you are looking for quiet or romance. It was perfect for what we were looking for. I would gladly return there for a meal.
