Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm. What a treat to open the door off busy Carleton near Yonge, pass through a cute coffee shop and enter the amazing Le alert. Staff was so friendly, food delicious and ambience very upbeat. We’ll be back! A real treat.

I love taking foreign visitors to this restaurant. The food is so tasty, and I enjoy hearing from my guests how much they enjoyed their first visit and often commit to revisiting the restaurant before leaving the country.

This is the first time my husband and I did an 8 course tasting. With incredibly knowledgable staff, mind blowing and complex food, this was a night to remember. When a taste can bring you back to your childhood (much like what happened in Ratatouille), it’s nothing I had ever experienced anywhere else. Even as a non vegetarian, I did not miss the absence of meat. A must “go-to”.

Love this restaurant. This time was a business type meeting and my colleague was more than 30 minutes late. The staff was great - no pressure to order etc. enjoyed the food immensely. She is not a vegetarian but loved it!!
