Ever since then, our goal has been to showcase not only our family recipes, but also the hard work and dedication that goes into each of them. Each year, we travel to Oaxaca, and hand pick our ingredients, and carefully select the people we partner with. Guelaguetza is a restaurant, boutique market, and advocates for Oaxacan culture located in the heart of Korea-town in Los Angeles. The menu is inspired by the team’s Italian heritage and will feature signature dishes like Ettore Tagliatelle Ai Funghi, a red wine pasta with mushrooms, kale, pecorino and hazelnuts and Stinco Di Agnello Con Patatine Al Parmigiano, braised lamb shank, fingerling potatoes and parmigiano reggiano. The restaurant showcases a beautifully-curated design of charming vintage pieces that have a story to tell, creating a one-of-a-kind dining atmosphere. The restaurant will be open 7 days a week from 11am to 9pm, walk-ins are welcome.

    We were greeted promptly and seated on time from the friendly host. This was my first time here and it was a fun experience. It felt like I was on vacation in Mexico. The music was a nice touch. An authentic Mexican vibe for sure. The service was very good and the mole choices were bomb. My only complaint was the prices were quite steep for the portion sizes. I’d return again though. Thank you.

    My lady and I had dinner here for Valentine’s Day. The food was exceptional! The environment was clean and well done. I called in because we were running late and they accommodated our late arrival. The service was good but could have been better. It seemed that there was one waiter for the attire dining room. They may have been under staffed that night. He was pretty busy. But over a great experience and we will definitely be back.
