A sophisticated restaurant, with a large balcony overlooking the lush green of Brighton Lakes. There is something for everyone at The Pavilion Restaurant.In the late 1920s, a group of golfers created the North Brighton Golf Club on the opposite side of the Cooks River to Sydney Airport, using a tin shed on the course as a clubhouse and paying two shillings in rent to the landowner for their 18 holes.The rapid growth of international air transport after WWII meant major runway extensions that eventually forced the Club to find a new home, and in 1950 a new site in Milperra was found, and the New Brighton Golf Club was formed.In 1979, the Club had part of the course resumed to make way for the building of the M5 Motorway. Construction of four new replacement golf holes commenced in June 1980, with players teeing off from 1982. The necessary redesign of the layout enabled New Brighton to attain Group One status.

The Basement Brewhouse situated in Bankstown Sports Club features it’s own microbrewery specialising in craft beer that’s brewed in-house and offers a wide variety of craft beers within Australia and around the world. Featuring 30 taps, we offer a wide range of craft beer, ciders, wine and tap cocktails. Throughout the year we have 10-13 Basement Brewhouse beers available on tap, all of which are brewed on site. My mates and I had a great time. It can get a bit stressful as you only have 60 minutes to order and get as much food as you want. Then you have an extra 30 mins to finish and cook the rest of your food. Between the 5 of us we had one grill so we felt the time pressure. However, the ambiance and quality of the food was fantastic for the standard package. You also don’t walk out smelling like charcoaled meats! My friends and I will definitely come back.

super friendly service, great tasting food that doesnt hurt the wallet. worth every penny in my opinion and my partner and i enjoyed every moment of being here, would definitely recommned to anyone. cocktails were amazing to add to this!
