The food was perfect - perfectly cooked, different dishes arrived at the same time as they should, all hot dishes (and plates) were hot. No-one came and asked the inane question as to whether everything was all right (I am too often tempted to say 'you would know by know if it wasn't'). It was very busy with a clientele in pre-Christmas mood but although more noisy than usual as a result, we could still hear one another and engage in civilized conversation. The coffee was hot and the milk on the side was cold as requested. Everything was in place for a special and modestly priced early December lunch. First class all round.

An extensive and interesting menu. One is spoilt for choice. All of it excellent. Charming and helpful service and a welcoming ambience.

We recently celebrated completing our social work degree at a charming vegan Caribbean restaurant. The evening was memorable, thanks to the clean and cosy ambiance that set the perfect tone for our celebration. The staff were excellent, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the night. Although we faced a minor issue with upgrading our seats to better accommodate our party of six, we made the best of the situation and still enjoyed our evening immensely. A highlight of the night was meeting the head chef and the restaurant’s owner, who were both incredibly welcoming and passionate about their craft. The menu was nothing short of excellent, offering a diverse and delicious selection of vegan Caribbean dishes. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor, making it easy to commend the restaurant for its outstanding food choices. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we look forward to returning soon!

I was a solo diner and thought the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Restaurant has a lively, cool ambience. The seafood spring roll starter was to die for and my noodle based main really tasty. Overall, delicious, healthy food. Reasonably priced too!!

The steward didn’t have much experience serving people. The sweet section of high tea had small shot glasses to be shared between 2 people. The menu said jalebi but the shot glass had a sprinkling of jalebi piece. I think this should be rethought as it’s physically impossible to share a shot glass worth of anything. Steward was very loud and started clearing tables when one of the party was still eating even though there were 10 other tables that were empty
