The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. The food was amazing but we felt really pressured to leave the table as we decided against a dessert and then we were presented with the bill when we had not requested it and that made us feel they wanted us to vacate. It was not a relaxing lunch!

First time going to Estabulo today and wow it was amazing! The venue is stunning, I love the low light, the flowers, the vibe it gave off was fab. The salad bar was fantastic with so many options that I didn't even think would be there. Eg. Garlic buttery mushrooms, peppercorn sauce, little picante? Peppers...beautiful! The meat speaks for itself - absolutely perfect 👌 Only downside was it was my partners birthday which I had noted on our booking. So, when we ordered dessert I had hoped they'd pop a candle on top or say happy birthday but they didn't. Other than that it was a fantastic experience and we will be back again!
