Originally built in 1518, the building was the very first Guildhall in Windsor which was the meeting place for the Trinity Guild (the town traders) which since the 13th Century has provided the governing body for the town until it was turned into an inn & public house in 1689. There has been a pub on this site for almost 500 years and is one of the oldest establishments in the town, only a few of which are still standing.Located on Market Street, The Prince Harry is only 50 metres from Windsor Castle. This restaurant was named in recognition of the signing of the Magna Carta in the year 1215. The Magna Carta, which is one of the most important documents in history and indeed of medieval England was signed only a short walk from the hotel in the historic grounds of Runnymede.Children's Policy: No under 12 year olds.

Really enjoyable trip to The Ivy Windsor. We were a group of three who visited for breakfast. I had the avocado and poached eggs and two pots of decaffeinated tea. Good service (although a little slow when we were ready to leave). Very good food. I love the decor and the ladies toilets were spotless and had really unusual wallpaper. Would definitely visit again.

Absolutely loved our tea in the lounge by the window! Food was delicious & beautifully presented. Tea was also very good (Darjeeling) and the service was impeccable! We do plan to return soon!

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.
