We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. We have pursued that goal ever since and it has earned us many loyal customers. Our menu is probably classed as British with some additional favourites from Italy and around the globe. Albert's Worsley provides a slick, modern space with dining for 180 guests inside and features a fabulous outside dining terrace for 60.The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday are also open for breakfast.
At the Cartford Inn, we offer a brand of hospitality that is truly unique, hallmarked by an award-winning restaurant, boutique hotel, delicatessen and art gallery. Our location is enviable, with guests able to enjoy panoramic views of the Ribble Valley and Fylde countryside whilst dining. Our décor is quirky and eclectic, in keeping with our building’s 17th century heritage, but with a modernist twist. Of course the main attraction is our 2-Rosette winning, Michelin recommended restaurant. Run by head chef Chris Bury, we offer the finest quality food without the fuss, in an atmosphere that is warm and unpretentious. Expect a discernible French influence, evidenced by our renowned French onion soup – a dish that is well worth a visit in its own right. We look forward to welcoming you!

Our pan-Asian menu gathers influences of cooking styles from all around Asia; including Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
The design of the restaurant is influenced by some of our favourite places to eat and drink, it takes its cues from the street food ‘Hawker’ markets of Penang mixed with the reclaimed building feel of Budapest’s ruin bars. These places both have a magical feel, something that we’ve tried to recreate for the people of Blackpool to enjoy.
Penang, Malaysia is an eclectic melting pot of various food styles, with influences from Indonesia, Thailand, India and China, dishes such as soup ramen and stone-baked donburi are two great examples of the depth in flavour, which can be created when different styles come together.
