Très bon accueil dans cette institution. Le foie de veau et sa polenta étaient délicieux.

Per noi non era la prima volta da Carboni ardenti, per cui sapevamo che il loro punto di forza era la carne, sempre di eccellente qualità. Ottimi cocktail preparati con attenzione e maestria dal barman. Atmosfera elegante e accogliente.

Given the rave reviews, I probably expected too much. The food was fine. Not amazing. The polenta was runny. Prosciutto and burrata were good. Truffle pasta was good but expensive. The bill was high relative to enjoyment. Service was great. It’s a fine option but you have so many equally good options that are a tad less.

Interesting decorations where thousands of Aperol bottles on the selves give a warm orange hue in the restaurant. Staff courteous and professional. Excellent food. The Fegato (liver) alla Veneziana just as it should be. Tables a bit crowded Entrance door right next to some tables was left open be incoming/outcoming customers and an icy draft was present. Overall a memorable Christmas Eve dinner.

We had an excellent dinner experience. We have been going to Harry Cipriani‘s on fifth Avenue for many years and always wanted to come to their original one in Venice. It did not disappoint. We had a table on the canal, which was magical in the evening. The service as always was impeccable. We will be back.
