The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer.     Love this place. Only second time visiting, but it is a really cool spot. Great for that fun, laugh aloud dinner and drinks night out with friends, no pretentiousness or fancy frills… straight up tequila shots, margaritas, and tacos ❤️. Margaritas are amazing, and the food is really good! Last time we went with a group and we ordered a selection of taco’s and margaritas to try as much as possible on the menu. The tacos are amazing!!! This time with just the two of us, I was able to pick my favourites, which wasn’t easy as everything is kinda delicious! I also love both the J-Dilla and the triple-z so we ordered them as sides with our tacos! Staff are amazing, really friendly and super attentive… never a dry glass 😁 100% recommend this place, and I will definitely be going back.
