Popoca means “to emit smoke” in Nawat, the language of native people of El Salvador who stoked wood fires to prepare food over a comal for their families. We come regularly to enjoy our 5* experiences. This time I would say six stars ... as I studied the menu before. My favorite choices (yours maybe a different choice) were beyond expectation, outstanding. Did I say we'll come back? Okay you want to know something not so positive: Teleferic Los Gatos should consider the lightning one space is dark compared to the other. By the way the service is great: thank you Sheila S.

Amazing food, terrific waiter. Frustrated that although we booked standard tables they insisted on seating us at a high table which didn’t work for my elderly parents. The low tables remained open until 5 minutes before we left. Not great.
