The food was very good. I had the rotisserie chicken and my husband had the prime rib dip. we also had the Wild Rice soup which was amazing!. It was my husband's birthday celebration and the hostess and the person that seated us wished him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Our waiter initially was very attentive and visited with us. But then the service went down hill from there. He said he would be right out with the soup...someone else brought it out and then later on when the waiter delivered our check, he said...did you get your soup? Someone else delivered our main course and the waiter never once came back to check on us to see how our meal was. No one offered To Go boxes, just took our plates. We asked for a dessert menu and that was never delivered. When we reviewed our check, there was a charge for a beer that we never received. We also told the waiter at that point to skip the dessert menu...he then realized he messed up and offered a free dessert...which we declined. He knew it was my husband's birthday and never mentioned it...although we over heard him talking to the table next to us about a birthday dessert. He did take off the beer that we never received and also my glass of wine but still charged us for my husband's "birthday" drink. I know he had alot of BIG tables to deal with but his inattentiveness to us was disappointing.

The FireLake Grill House offers a varied menu and I appreciate that the ingredients locally sourced. We enjoyed the short ribs, walleye and duck which were all fantastic! The only disappointment was that the popovers were overdone. The specialty cocktails and desserts were excellent! We enjoyed a lovely dinner in an elegant yet relaxed venue.

Went for Christmas dinner while on vacation. Very beautiful place, menu selection was big but something for everyone. Service was great, food was okay

Our server was fantastic! My husband went to the bar to look at the bourbon selection, and chatted with, what we assume was a manger, as he was friendly and informative. A bit later he went back to the bar and wanted to chat with him again but he didn’t see him and the bartender on duty approached him. The bartender, wearing a christmas sweater, was rather rude and dismissive, souring my husband’s impression of our experience. The food was delicious and we look forward to returning. We parked in the ramp, and we were in and out in a little more than an hour.. it was $24… WTF.. for a little more then an hour! We will get our steps in and walk from the mall where we can not be robbed.

Shawn was our server. He did amazing with suggestions and made sure we had what we needed but wasn’t like he was hovering over the table. The food was amazing! It wasn’t super loud but we did go when the first opened.

Cocktails were good, and the burgers we had were hearty and flavorful. Well made. The only concern is the waitress, although very nice, she didn't check with us until we finished eating. There were no needs from us during our meal, but at least asking how everything was tasting and whether we wanted another cocktail is always welcome. She appeared to be busy and was friendly, just not totally attentive. We noticed she didn't return to the other tables she was waiting on, either. Oh well...the food is tasty, so well worth a visit!

We were celebrating our daughter’s golden birthday with friends, and at the end of the meal they brought her a dessert with a candle for us to sing happy birthday. It was an unexpected surprise. The food was delicious, a bit overpriced, but it’s part of a hotel, so I expect higher prices. The service was friendly and attentive. We had four kids with us and everything was timely. We would definitely come back.

We had a business dinner at the restaurant. Everyone was welcome and accommodating. I had the braised short rib and it was fall off the bone delightful. Our table shared the charcuterie board, cheese curds, and walleye cakes. All apps were delicious. The noise level was moderate. There were 11 people in our party and it was easy to carry on a conversation. Highly recommend.
