Smakeloos kantine voer! Lang geleden dat we zo slecht gegeten hebben. Terwijl we ons nog aan het verbazen waren over het zeer matige voorgerecht verscheen het hoofdgerecht. Een gooi en smijt tent die alleen vanwege het “verleden” klanten weet te trekken. Jammer van deze avond!!

Our group of five tried a variety of dishes. The clam chowder was delicious- chunky and flavorful. The filet mignon was tender and beautifully presented. Jambalaya was spicy and seafood ingredients were good.

Fraunces Tavern is a historic venue in the Financial District of NYC. The food and beverages have always been good. It is a good place to go if you are downtown sightseeing.

It was my boyfriends birthday and the waitress brought the check before we could even order a dessert. She also asked me if I wanted to try a drink and I said yes I will order that and she never brought it to the table. The food was amazing and the place looked beautiful but the service was lucklaster

Beautiful tavern restaurant with so much charm. Food was good tavern food. The tavern burger was cooked nicely and my husband’s fish and chips was great as well. Seems the like the open table reservation system might need some work because staff said they were overbooked and seemed overwhelmed. We originally had a reservation for the piano bar and I received a call two hours prior telling us they could not put us in the piano bar room because of over booking. However they were able to accommodate us later in the night upstairs after dinner. We really enjoyed the drinks in the upstairs piano bar and would recommend it!! Thanks for a great night, all in all it worked out great.

We entered the restaurant and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We were lead to an isolated room were we sat by ourselves. We were not offered this option. It was separated from the rest to the restaurant. It was cold and we had to look for our waiter several times for our food and bill. We could not enjoy the beautiful decorations and were very disappointed in our experience.
