Frederick's is a family-run restaurant that is now fifty-five years old. Frederick's is a relaxed, contemporary restaurant and bar with private dining options. Serving a modern, crowd-pleasing menu, with familiar yet focused service and an enviable wine list Frederick's continues to be run by the Segal family. We are proud to be regarded as an Islington Institution, and continue to work hard to ensure that this is the case for years to come.

Frederick’s is open from Tuesday through to Saturday with full hire parties bookable on Sunday and Monday (fifty plus guests). Our familiar team is looking forward to seeing you; we can’t wait to shake you a martini or decant a fine wine for you to enjoy.

Our first time at Frederick’s. A nice greeting as we arrived and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, nice size portions. Wine was very good. A really nice evening and we would definitely go here again

Had a fantastic birthday lunch there yesterday. Great menu! The food and service spot on. We stayed for drinks afterwards and met up with friends. The bartender/mixologist makes a mean Whiskey Sour.

Another wonderful evening at Frederick's, this time with a colleague. Superb service, food and warmth. If, Reader, you have not been, please put this at the front of the queue. Immeasurably more atmosphere and better quality food and wine than going out in the Square Mile. Thanks! John

Fantastic service from start to Finish. Fair play to Andreea who looked after a group of us 10 Arsenal supporters who were pressed for time prior to kick off. Pre orders and name tags sorted beforehand, will visit Frederick’s regularly knowing we will always be looked after and the food is great - Thankyou

Had an early meal before ballet. Service was excellent and so was food. Had scallops and would definitely recommend. Followed with lamb which was also excellent. All of the people with me equally happy with their food. Wish I had time to sit in the lovely bar after but sadly we were in a rush

Booked Frederick's for the first time, for a celebration meal. I had been outside many times but never been in. The venue is much larger than I thought. Staff were attentive but not overbearing. The food was very good. We were on the Christmas menu and between us we had starters of squid, scallops, crab, and mains of halibut, chicken and cod. All were good and we just had enough room to share a couple of desserts (the pecan cheesecake and bread and butter pudding). I'd highly recommend Frederick's and will definitely book again.

This is such a great place to be. The staff are attentive, they offer helpful advice if you need it. The food is made to order, not reheated, and it is perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious. The wine we chose was lovely. It was full but the tables are spaced so that the ambient noise is not a problem.

Wonderful meal with friends to celebrate a ‘milestone’ birthday. Food and service were excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful and a perfect place to celebrate special occasions.
