Food fell below expectations, and at least three of the meals arrived cold at room temperature, many of the food items were not as ordered and when they tried to correct the problem the corrections were not as promised. Omelette and Huevos Rancheros were completely cold, a biscuit was so cold melted butter hardened on contact. This Greenbrier Inn is very expensive, and has been a place we love to visit and the servers were excellent; however, the venue, ambience, and service only go so far when the food quality is substandard.

Holiday menu was limited, but food and service were excellent . A bit pricey at 145/person, but a bottle of decent champagne and desert were included. The lamb chops were very well prepared and my wife’s New York was done just right as ordered. What the heck, it was New Year’s Eve. You will never go wrong with the Greenbriar. JM

Still one of the nicest dining experiences in Boulder County. Really exceptional service and a beautiful location for a relaxed and delicious dinner.

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with our Christmas Eve Buffet. As you saw, we have a rather large buffet with many cold salad options, inc. shrimp and a lobster bisque soup. On the hot side, we had a carving station of fresh cut lamb and prime rib, as well as cedar plank salmon and duck. We offered a plethora of side options inc. multiple potato choices. We doubled up our heating elements to mitigate potential cooling that naturally happens when opening the serving dishes. The staff did their best to timely swap out for plentiful replacements, although at times a dish was pulled while the next was brought out... Place cards would definitely have remained in place to indicate what is on its way - as the buffet was kept fully stocked until 11pm that evening.
