   This restaurant clearly caters to locals which we are not. We were seated right away, even though we arrived 10 minutes early. Our waiter was friendly and took our drink order promptly. However, within 10 minutes, the place got busy, and we didn’t see him again. We couldn’t get another drink, and our food took about 10 minutes to prepare. My wife had the three-pasta dish, but unfortunately, she found the pasta dishes to be bland. I ordered the gnocchi special and the Strozzapreti al Pomodoro, which were both delicious. It was apparent that our waiter knew most of the patrons and focused his attention on them, leaving us largely ignored. It would have been nice if he had checked in with us at least once. Given that our bill was over $200, we expected a higher level of service. There are certainly better dining options in NYC.
