Service was very slow. Our waiter kept returning to apologize for the wait, but we waited nearly an hour between our salad and the main course. My steak was very tough and the coffee with dessert was barely lukewarm warm. I had noted when I made the reservation that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. No mention was made until he brought the check when he said he had just noticed it was a birthday celebration and jokingly said if we would you like him to sing happy birthday. I hope they were just having an off night, because it has been one of favorite places for a special occasion for many years.

Iron Gate is a gem that truly impressed. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a memorable dining experience. The attentive staff was knowledgeable and provided impeccable service, making us feel truly cared for. The food was the star of the show. The Zucchini Blossom was particularly outstanding, a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The Filet Mignon was another highlight, leaving us wanting more. If you’re seeking a dining experience that combines delicious food, excellent service, and a delightful atmosphere, this is the place to be.

What a wonderful anniversary dinner we had last night. The appetizers were beyond delicious along with our dinners. The service was flawless and all the staff are so kind. It’s truly a special restaurant.
