Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Javier's Crystal Cove serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. It has a full bar that features numerous tequilas, cocktails, beers and wine. Javier's Crystal Cove also offers outdoor dining. It accepts reservations over the phone and online.

Food is great. Waiter was great. The hostess are not very friendly and not just this time, it happened on other occasions that we dined at Javier's. We had a reservation and had to wait outside for 15 minutes in the cold. We were given no options like the Bar. We were just told move to the left and stand there and wait.

Great time as usual! Bartenders were great as we grabbed a drink while waiting for our table to be ready, we we’re early ! Love this place and will always go back!

A little bit of attitude from some of the staff...My server was great! Had a good time, nice refresh of the decor.

The ambiance here is amazing. The restaurant looks beautiful no matter where you’re seated.

This restaurant is way overpriced. We set up a birthday dinner or seated close to the front door so you felt like you never really were welcomed into a restaurant. The service was very good. They are a hard-working team. The food was pretty good but had questionable results. Specifically, I ordered the scallops, but not all of them were cooked fully. for what I ate, it was delicious, but the rest of the scallops my husband tried, and it was disgustingly undercooked. The side of corn was delicious and my husband‘s chicken mole had great flavor, but the onion and garlic stayed with him for two days. I ordered their primo margarita and it was 100% tequila which many people would like, but I had to order a side of mixer and juice to be able to drink it. We would try it again if it wasn’t so damn expensive.

Every time we’re in the area, we visit Javier’s try the mole, chicken poblano, and the trio of seafood enchiladas. You won’t be sorry!

We had a lovely time at Javier’s. Food was fantastic. Cocktail was well prepared and the ambiance and beauty of the ocean facing interior was fantastic.
