I hadn't been here since they moved- so it's been over 11 years, but I do not think I will be back. Miss the cozy atmosphere of the old place, but this was nice. Food was ok, but not great, and for 3 relatively not hungry people and one (completely watered down cocktail) drink our bill was over $200! There is something funky going on in the back though- and I had I used the restroom before dinner I would have walked out. The kitchen and bathroom area smelled SOOOO bad! Like sewer and fishy smells combined. Completely overwhelming and made me question my food choices. Overall- mediocre to fine (minus smell) but not worth the $$ in my opinion with so many other options around. Location to second city was the big winner here.

The food was enjoyable, but the service and overall experience fell short, removing this classic spot from my rotation. The staff seemed unprepared—wearing winter coats indoors, and the hostess doubling as our server. It took nine requests to get low-sodium soy sauce, and when my nephew ordered a cola, we were told there would be a delay in refilling the machine. Despite having several patrons, the staff seemed ill-equipped to handle the evening. The atmosphere felt off, and the service failed to live up to the restaurant’s former charm. Unfortunately, it’s not worth revisiting—the place has changed.

A wonderful evening in a lovely establishment. Very conducive to enjoying conversation and excellent service and food. Service was very attentive and welcoming. Look forward to coming back soon.

We always have a good experience here! Love the saki options, sushi is amazing (nigiri in particular), our server was fantastic (attentive, knowledgeable, funny, affable), the specials are always fun to try, and the mochi—according to my daughter—is yummy!

Sky was great, was able to answer all my groups questions. Good cocktails and sake. Ebi shumai and hiyashi wakame were very good. Sushi was fresh and well prepared. Will be back soon.
