King Umberto is a family-owned Italian restaurant that has been serving the Elmont community for over 40 years. The restaurant is known for its warm and inviting atmosphere, as well as its delicious food. The menu features a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, as well as some more modern creations. Some of the most popular dishes include the Fried Capellini, the Chicken Marsala, and the Stuffed Veal Chop. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list, with over 350 wines to choose from. King Umberto is a great place to go for a special occasion or just a casual night out. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week.

The food was excellent. Shared appetizers of capellini, calamari and zuchinni. All were good and enjoyed though the calamari could have been cooked more. Six adults I. Our party and each had a different entree, chicken parm, chicken rollatine, chicken special, pasta vodka, pasta special with short rib and salmon special. All were excellent. Staff was working exceptionally hard and did a nice job in terms of service. There was a large party in the back of patio thst was there for the first hour we were at the restaurant. The temporary greenery walls set up to create the private space cut off the air circulation to the remainder of the patio room. The heat was opressive and uncomfortable as a result. The decorations and atmosphere were beautiful but the restaurant felt very chaotic. Will return but not likely to do so on a Saturday night.

Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Everyone was attentive and so festive. We had a wonderful time and would go back again.

New Year’s Eve before Billy Joel at UBS. Food was outstanding as always. Service is best you will ever find.

It was super busy being it was New Years Eve and Billy Joel was playing down the road, yet we were seated timely in accordance with our reservations. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The taste of the food was excellent while the temperatures of the entrees could have been hotter. I will go back.

We had a wonderful New Years Eve dinner at this restaurant. Our servers name was Erick and there were sooooo many employees working and every single one of them were hustling. Food and dessert were top notch and we sat in the “patio” section which was decorated so beautifully for the holidays. Highly recommend

Great food. Great service. Great dining experience. Enjoyed everything we ordered. !Calamari. Lobster ravioli Burrata appetizer plate. Chicken Veal & fish entrees. Delicious. Even Had one of the best Cappuccinos I’ve had in long time. Of course we’ll be going back Thank you to all M Martin
