                                      We went to Kona grill for Christmas Day dinner.We were seated on time only to be told by our server that we would have to WAIT TWO HOURS for our food.Everywhere else was closed so we had no choice but to stay. They had a SPECIAL CHRISTMAS MENU with turkey,at 730PM they were SOLD OUT !! We will NOT be dining at Kona Grill in the future and I will be telling my friends and colleagues NOT TO EITHER !!

                                      Why be open on a holiday if you can’t staff up and deliver good service. Got seated 45 minutes after our reservation time then waited almost an hour for our food, which was not cooked properly. The only explanation we got was “sorry we’re busy”. The food was terrible and the service was worse. Sad to say but this is our second bad experience in a row with them. Won’t be back to try for three.

                                      We had reservations at 5:30 arrived at 5:25 and didn’t get seated till 615. Didn’t get our food until like an hour later after we ordered the food we ordered was cold. Returned one of our items, but it was still on our bill. The whole experience was not good.

                                      We went there specifically for turkey on Christmas Day. Our reservation was for 5 and they were already out. Had to make another choice. It was good, but not what we had hoped for.

                                      I know it was Christmas and i believe staff was short…but, we had reservations for 4:45 , noone came to our table for 20 minutes, large table got seated behind us and was waited on immediately… so finally got ahold of waitress and she felt horrible, ordered our food and waited 1 1/2 hours for it , got our food only to find we had no silverware, waited awhile for that while our food was cooling off… grrrrr not a great experience at all. Did not take out on the waitress at all though , she did her best!!

                                      SsThe vice wss extremely slow. We were told they had call offs in a section I was in. So that ment other servers had to come to our section to service. Which made service extremely slow. Next time if they have call offs in a certain area. Just don’t open it.

                                      We ordered a sushi and requested without avocados. They brought it with avocado. My steak I asked for it to be medium was well done. My daughter‘s mac & cheese was terrible tasted like nothing. Our waitress was amazing and very nice and very helpful but the food overall was beyond poor if there was a minus star I would give it minus. Very disappointed with the food. We will make sure we never come back or recommend it to anyone very disappointed.
