LA BONNE TABLE is a cozy and intimate restaurant in the heart of the bustling neighborhood of Hillcrest. We serve country french food in a bistro fashion. Our menu consists of classic french dishes, a modest but excellent selection that will change with the seasons. We offer a romantic atmosphere and elegant setting, full bar and french beer on tap. The wife and I had an amazing dinner to celebrate our anniversary! All the food was delicious and the setting was great and intimate. Will definitely be back to La Bonne Table for other date nights.

The food was thoughtful and delicious. The service was attentive and low-key. The small, quiet space was inviting. We will definitely return!!

Great service. Duck confit was so good. Escargot was done very nicely. Such a great experience overall. We will be back

Reservations process was simple. Once we arrived we were seated immediately for a table set for two. We looked at menu ahead of time and knew more or less what we wanted. Server helped me pick out a drink. I got crab appetizer and my partner got onion soup. Portions were great, both tasted amazing. Then we both got the same main course, steak with fries. Big portions for dinner, we both had some leftover. Lastly, we picked the chocolate mousse for dessert, good enough to share for two. Everything tasted excellent. This place is better for a quiet sit down dinner, dimly lit and petite space, so you are cozy, for some might feel tight. I picked it because it seemed more romantic than other restaurants near the area. Left a great impression on us.

Great service, wonderful food, and nice cocktails. It can get a little tight and a little bit noisy...but it definitely captured the ambiance and flavors of bistros I dined in back in France. Everyone really enjoyed the food.

If you would like to dine within the walls of an old Inn in France, you will like this restaurant. The venue is small, as is the menu, but the food and service are terrific. I had Steak with fries, and it was tasty and cooked perfectly. Our appetizer cheese dish, as was the light Creme Brulee we ordered for dessert, was excellent. Two of us had martinis, which were well-made to meet our requests. The wine-by-the-glass selection is small, but the wines on the list are all terrific. Today's standards do not overprice the restaurant.
