Travel down historic Market Street towards the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware and you will find La Fia Bistro. La Fia is an intimate dinner destination in a historic building located on the corner of 5th and Market. Chef Dwain Kalup's menu utlizes carefully sourced ingredients reflecting the seasons, local region and local farms. The menu at La Fia features small plates, pastas and creative entrees. Our cheese and charcuterie is one of a kind and not to be missed!

Due to the small size of our restaurant we allow 2 hours for guests to enjoy their dining experience. If you feel you need more time please reach out to us directly.

Our server was wonderful! Kind, attentive, friendly; very helpful in guiding our food & beverage selections. We shared the tuna tartare, the halibut & squid ink pasta with prawns. So flavorful and perfectly executed. Everything was delicious! Excited to return! And you must get the olive oil cake for dessert!

Dinner was fantastic , first time trying the crispy duck and it was amazing, the pastas were delish. Tuna tartare was too salty next time ask for less salt on everything.

Another amazing meal at La Fia--and so excited about so many amazing new dishes on the menu (though so glad they have kept my favorites like the bucatini as well!). I had the eggplant appetizer--as always, such an incredible and perfect melding of flavors--the steak, which was cooked absolutely perfectly, and the new sweet potato cake for dessert, a fun new addition and perfect for fall! As always, the cocktails were the best anywhere, and the service was impeccable!

Absolutely tremendous. Wow. So delicious that multiple times I stopped hearing the world around and I was honed in with laser focus savoring the flavor and texture of every bite.

Service was wonderful. The restaurant is in a beautiful historic building in the charming part of Wilmington, Delaware. Halibut meal, gnocchi, cocktails and desserts were extraordinary! Highly recommend!

The restaurant was quaint and cozy, the food was delicious and well prepared. The service was outstanding, our waitress was lovely. I would definitely go back if I'm in that area.
