This was our first visit having heard so much about La Griglia. Granted there were a lot of parties and families celebrating the holidays but we found the service to be lacking. The hostess showed us to our table, left menus but neglected to provide us with a wine list. Wait staff walked past us for 15 minutes before we "flagged down" a waiter who was clearly displeased that we had the audacity to ask for water and menus. We finally "met" our waiter who ended up being very attentive though it was apparent that he was serving too may parties and tables to be attentive given the reputation of the restaurant. The upstairs dining rooms are drab and nothing special. However, once we got beyond this disappointment the food and fare was exceptional and plentiful. I will definitely go back but will look to a ordinary evening not around the holidays. But I will only be seated downstairs which is nicer, warmer and quieter.

We had a wonderful time dining at La Griglia, it has always one of our favorite spots. The food as always was excellent. The seating upstairs was perfect, the tables were spread out so we can enjoy our own conversation. Will come back soon.

5 star overall with the exception of our table being very close to the table next to us. So close in fact that the people next to us commented on our conversation. Next time I will make sure we are not sitting in that location.

We brought friends to dinner at LG. It was our first time dining out with this couple and a first time for them, dining at LG. Pedro was our server, and he was so helpful, to our guests, with navigating the menu and all the added dinner specials. Every appetizer, chilled oysters, fried calamari Cajun style, and endive salad were really wonderful. The regular menu entrees we ordered were perfect, and our one guest ordered the special, black linguini puttanesca appetizer, as an entree, and he just raved about it. The wine and beverage service was seamless, as was the entire experience. In the end, our friends were so happy to have shared a great evening with us, and to have enjoyed an excellent dining experience at La Griglia.

drove a long way for this restaurant, food was excellent, service was very excellent although we felt rushed a little, but the prices, we felt was too high. Would recommend this place.

Family dinner, with kids and grandkids, and it was a wonderful evening. From the buttered pasta for the little ones, to the Dover sole entrees, Black Sea bass entrees, and superb appetizers, our dining experience was enjoyable with seamless service. Water and wine glasses were replenished, used dishes taken away in a timely manner and table crumbed between courses. LG food and wait staff is the best around.
