The regional and contemporary menu at Lago is a culmination of northern Piedmontese dishes to Sicilian seafood dishes inspired by 30 years of Italian cooking and upbringing. We have also added in some popular American-Italian dishes for those guests looking for a more modern Italian dining experience. The beverage options at Lago are equally as much thought out in standard and craft as the food menu. Lago offers a unique predominantly Italian wine list, where a large number of bottles can also be ordered by the glass, and half bottle.                                                                       Stylish urban atmosphere that attracts a diverse clientele. Food was very good, and there were many wines available by the glass. Server got the job done but expected more polish given the setting. Hostess was too busy looking at her cell phone to properly credit the open table reservation or to say good bye.

                                                                      It was our first time dining here. The food and service from beginning to end was among the most exceptional dining experiences I’ve had in recent years! Mittens took care of us! She’s the BEST.  We started off with the pizza pretzel which was huge! It was really good. We took half of that home. I had the short rib which comes with polenta and Brussel sprouts.  The short rib was tender and of a great quality. It fell apart and melted in your mouth.  My husband had the salmon which he said was delicious too!  His entree came with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. We each had a glass of wine and I chose a Tuscan wine that was outstanding. We also had coffee at the end and that was very nice as well. There was absolutely no room for dessert, lol. We each took half our meals home with us. We look forward to coming back multiple times in the future and trying some different things. We also agreed that we would just walk over there and have that pizza pretzel and some drinks! Atmosphere is very nice and while we were there, the music was just a little too loud for my liking. Don’t get me wrong. The music was fun! Everyone seemed to be bopping along to it, so it’s a nice vibe. Maybe just a hair lower in volume.

                                                                      Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. In addition we mentioned we were going to a show afterwards and she brought us the meal and check without us feeling rushed. Great job Katherine!

                                                                      I took my wife there for our anniversary. I ordered roses ahead of time and the restaurant staff kept them fresh and delivered them to the table upon arrival. The lamb and short ribs were very good and we had plenty to eat. The offered me a military discount which complimented our overall experience. Both my wife and I had a wonderful meal and time. I do wish there were more options for appetizers that did not include pork or shell fish. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. I appreciated her giving us our privacy but yet being "perky" all at the same time.

                                                                      We sat at the high tables and were served by the bartenders. One of them was very attentive and nice but the other was as much. She wasn’t rude just not as nice. Drinks and food were outstanding.
