Opened in May of 2008 "Bud's at Silver Run" invites you to enjoy great dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Local resident Blinn Salisbury III and partner Ken Lurie are pleased to become part of the community and to revive this great location. We have searched for the right restaurant and are happy that we have found it in Silver Run. Ken brings more than thirty years of varied restaurant experience with him to Bud's. It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation.     Another great time. Our server, Brook, was excellent. I took a chance and ordered duck entree and didn’t like it. Brook ask what was wrong and I said I thought maybe it needed to be cooked longer. She kindly asked if I would allow the chief cook it longer and I did, but still didn’t like it. My husband reminded me I had duck somewhere else before and didn’t like it ….i think I just don’t like duck. Brook kindly offered and almost insisted on me trying another option. I felt like it was my fault selecting something I didn’t like, but she was so kind I accepted the offer and chose filet mignon. It was GREAT and I won’t forget how much effort was put into making sure I was pleased. The service and food at this restaurant is the BEST!!!

    This restaurant is great for a nice, romantic dinner. The ambiance was superb and our server was the best. Management stopped by our table a few times to be sure we had a pleasant experience. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend this restaurant to everyone we know! Easily 5 stars!
