Standing out from the crowd, our 400-seater restaurant is housed in a grand Grade II listed building featuring a distinct neoclassical Greek façade and mixes an industrial look with a touch of opulence inside. Opera Grill brings theatre on a grand scale to Chester. At the heart of our menu is the theatre charcoal grill and wood-burning ovens, inspired by revered chefs and restaurants from around the world. The entertainment continues in a first-floor Music Gallery featuring a stage set for live acts every Friday, and a mix of soulful classics performed by our gospel choir every Sunday.The distinctive spaces in Opera Grill are all available for hire for meetings, conferences and special events with bespoke menus and entertainment packages.We have limited disabled access, the 1st floor and terrace is not wheelchair accessible.

Lunch Menu - Two Courses for £30 / Three Courses for £35We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. We always have a nice experience and tonight was no exception. We had the butternut squash and minestrone soup for starters, delicious! Next came the sea green and rigatoni with beef shin ragu, delectable! Finished with the orange and polenta and exile cake deserts, delicate, delicious and really hit the spot🤓

Amazing food. Both me and my boyfriend are committed meat eaters but were blown away by the food here. I also have an egg allergy so really nice to try some beautiful pasta dishes. Amazing!

Another fabulous meal at the Chef's Table, the food is always spectacular and the service warm and genuinely friendly. Lobster tail to start with Venison marinated in sloe gin as a main finishing with Christmas pudding was a great way to start our Christmas. Thank you Liam and the team, you are a magician!!!
