Created Tom Hill and Clare Lattin of Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck in Hackney, Emilia is their version of a small Italian Osteria (transported to the Devonshire countryside) serving seasonal, everyday Italian inspired dishes using locally grown ingredients. Tom oversees the menu and together they cook and share a love for Italian food and natural wine. The dining room is hosted by Lucy Mastroddi and Paul Seckler along with Alice Phillips.

We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too.     If I could give more stars I would! We visited on valentines evening, had been once before and I have to say from the welcome to the incredible food and waitress that was super attentive (lovely Italian lady sorry didn’t catch your name) the whole experience was perfect for us. I have already spoken to 5 people this morning to tell them to go! Will be back!

    If ever you're in Ashburton, Emilia really is the place to dine. My Fiancée and I had an incredible time watching the dishes be prepared by Danny and George - flawless from start to finish. Every single plate was a delight to eat - will be coming back 100%, even for years to come!

    The food was great. The terrine starter was very, very good. We had pork shoulder from the grill and the lunchtime special which was a kind of pork casserole. Both really tasty. The side of garlicky cabbage was awesome. The wine selection was rather limited (2 reds, 2 whites, an orange and a fizz) and we liked the Pinot best.

    Live and Let Live is a hidden gem on the South Hams. Lovely place, lovely food, lovely service. One of our favourite places in Devon. We just love coming here.
