Created Tom Hill and Clare Lattin of Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck in Hackney, Emilia is their version of a small Italian Osteria (transported to the Devonshire countryside) serving seasonal, everyday Italian inspired dishes using locally grown ingredients. Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. We thought that the cooking was very good, the service was friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. However, given the high prices, the ambience/decor were somewhat basic and the chairs uncomfortable. the star of the performance is undoubtedly the food, with interesting combinations of flavours, very fresh and using local produce.
