Market Place was opened in November 2011 in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork. John O Connor who has worked in the catering industry all his life opened Market Place. John is from Mitchelstown originally and studied Hotel & Catering Management in third level. Great atmosphere and service was brilliant, the waiters and waitresses were very attentive and professional. Starters were great, the mains were ok, desert seemed to be a store bought meringue with a few raspberries.

Had a lovely evening out with cocktails and tapas. Would definitely recommend the beef sliders snd nachos, we also had delicious patas bravas and the crispy chicken was nice but the hot sauce was very hot for us. Drinks were good and we were well minded throughout the night!
